Here are some poems written by Charles Tieszen as we are getting ready to end the spring semester!

CLOSING OUT

As the end the year comes to a close

We all begin to ponder the most

We wonder about all of the what ifs

Instead of stay present and enjoying this

Let’s instead not look behind but ahead

Instead of being in the clouds in our own head

EXAM SEASON

Finals coming up soon causing major stress

But many of us would rather forget they exist nevertheless

Staying up late, studying all but still needing more

We students keep going only thanks to cups o’ joe

Fun plans come up, but too worried to attend

We decline to study and maybe nap in bed

Finals approach, time to show what we know as whole

We students will definitely be reaching our goals
