The Featured Bean: Bean Fosters
Located just under 15 minutes from the dorms at CCU, Bean Fosters is a quaint hidden gem in Golden.
They specialize in serving locally roasted coffees, teas, and house-made treats among the walls of used books they have for sale in the shop. They have tables for two, larger tables (if you and your friends would like to study together), and they also have bar-top seating against the windows, if you are riding solo. Due to COVID, there are not as many tables as normal, but still plenty of seating to come and get some work done.
Bean Fosters has huge windows on two sides of the shop, making it a bright atmosphere, and did I mention a great view of the mountains?! The baristas are friendly and great to chat with while they are making your drink, creating a family element to this place that makes it feel like home. They create a positive environment, and you can tell they love what they do.
Bean Fosters has a quiet, peaceful vibe, making it a wonderful place to study and get work done. So, whether you just want a good cup of coffee, a quiet place to study, or a good book to read, Bean Fosters has it all!
