Coffee in Colorado
Looking for a new study spot? Colorado has some of the best coffee shops for college students to visit! From downtown Denver to Winter Park, you’re sure to find a spot perfect for your studying needs. Here are some coffee shop recommendations from fellow CCU students!

- Corvus Coffee
First up is Honey Hill Café! Honey Hill is a great spot located near downtown Denver! It has lots of windows with bar seating, small tables, and a small local vibe that’s sure to get you in the studying mood. They are proud to serve locally roasted coffees, and they have a great selection of allergen-friendly foods. The only downside to Honey Hill is that they are super popular, so get there early to secure a seat at this fabulous café!
Dandy Lion Coffee is also located in downtown Denver, but it offers a unique vibe that is central to the brand. The inside of the shop is surrounded by plants! It is a cute and positive place that is unlike any other coffee shop in the area. They have small tables around the shop, and some of the ones in the middle even have swings you can chill out in and do your homework! One downside to Dandy Lion is that they do not have very many outlets to charge a computer, but this cozy shop is the perfect place for a short study session or just catching up with friends!
Corvus Coffee has a few locations in the Denver area, and it is a bigger coffee shop than the aforementioned ones. It has classic coffee and a calming atmosphere that makes it easy to focus and get work done while still enjoying the company of others. This shop has good-sized tables and lots of room for you and your friends to crank out work! It doesn’t have as much of a local coffee shop vibe, but it is a great place to spend a day with roommates to try out something new!
Colorado has a great variety of coffee shops to try and something that will please everyone! Spending a day at a coffee shop with friends or roommates and getting work done is a fantastic way to enjoy the day and get ahead on school work. Grab your friends and go check out your new favorite place!
