Mock Rebrand: CCU for Life

Something that makes CCU special is its commitment to not wavering from their values. Not just values defined by the leadership, but the values defined clearly in God’s Holy Bible.

A strong value of the Christian faith is that every single human has inherit dignity and worth because of what the Word of God says. God knits each person in the womb, writes out their days, and knows them inwardly and outwardly.

The campus ministry, CCU For Life, “exists to educate the student body on the issues surrounding abortion and equip them to take action within their community.” CCU For Life has students volunteer at pregnancy centers, speaking with women considering abortion, adoption, or parenting. They also help women who have had an abortion, further demonstrating Christ’s love even to women who did not choose life for the baby.

With culture’s ever-increasing Pro-Choice swing, CCU For Life truly is bold in standing up for life and biblical truth in a world, and especially in Denver, that would disagree and mock them for doing so.

I’ve always seen CCU For Life stickers on water bottles and laptops and thought they could use a little boost!

I chose a butterfly as the focal point of the logo because butterflies are a beautiful symbol of life and development. They spend 8-12 days in metamorphosis to become a beautiful creation, just as babies spend 9 months in the womb to be born and fully developed. I also chose yellow as the main color because yellow is a vibrant, lively color and wanted to further emphasize how much CCU For Life values life.
